Autumn Book Tag

Hello! This is my first post on my new blog, and I decided to participate in a book tag I stumbled upon. Ashlee at Books Are 42 invited anyone who was interested to join in this tag, so here I am!

What book always reminds you of fall/autumn?

Of Cottages and Cauldrons by Seamus King, Tara Jazdzewski, and Tiffany Curry reminds me of autumn because of its cover and witchy short stories.

What is your favourite autumnal book cover?

That would be The Dark of October by B. D. West. It’s an autumn-themed book, and the whispy-looking cover is inviting.

What is your favourite autumnal drink to read with?

I enjoy drinking vanilla caramel coffee. It’s nice to cosy up and read with that.

Do you prefer to read late at night or early in the morning?

I prefer to read late at night because that’s when I wind down from work.

Halloween is coming! What is your favourite spooky read?

Halloween has passed, but my favorite spooky read is The Weird Sisters of Wynter’s Hill by Helen Whistberry.

What is the ultimate comfort read for you?

If I had to pick, it would be Keep Calm and Carry On.

What is your favourite autumnal reading snack?

I like snacking on roasted and salted pecans.

What is your favourite autumnal candle to burn whilst reading?

I don’t burn candles because I don’t trust myself with them. Maybe one day!

When you’re not reading, what is your favourite autumnal activity?

I like to curl up in bed and journal. I also like to practice different handwriting styles.

What is on your autumn/fall reading list?

I’m planning to read Autumn Nights by Cass Kim, Twisted Tales by Rebecca Graves, and Owl Eyes Motel by Barbara Avon.
